Paper Fortune Teller
Paper Fortune Teller supports fine and gross motor development, social skills, mathematics, communication and literacy.
Bicycle Park
- Number your bicycles.
- Create numbered bicycle parking spaces.
- Number the parking spaces to correspond with the numbers on the bicycles.
- Encourage children to park their bicycle in the space with the corresponding number.
Active Ten Frames
Draw a large Ten Frame outdoors or where there is space for children to stand in each square.
Dancing
Activity One
- Show the children a card, e.g. 3
- Each child takes a turn to do a dance move in 3 squares (or the selected number) .
Activity Two
- 10 children
- Start with the first child dancing once in square one.
- Second child goes to the second square and they both dance twice.
- Etc.
Marching
Activity One
- Show the children a card, e.g. 5
- Each child takes a turn to march in 5 squares (or the selected number) .
Activity Two
- 10 children
- Start with the first child marching once in square one.
- Second child goes to the second square and they both march twice.
- Etc.
Hopping
Activity One
- Show the children a card, e.g. 7
- Each child takes a turn to hop in 7 squares (or the selected number) .

- Start with the first child hopping once in square one.
- Second child goes to the second square and they both hop twice.

Spinning
Activity One
- Show the children a card, e.g. 8
- Each child takes a turn to spin in 8 squares (or the selected number) .

- Start with the first child spinning once in square one.
- Second child goes to the second square and they both spin twice.
