Social and Emotional Skills

Social and Emotional Skills

There is an array of social and emotional skills that children need to learn and develop in the early years. Group activities in early years will naturally develop these skills. Children will develop their social and emotional skills through independent play, interacting with other children and groups, as well as interacting with adults.

Each week we will focus on two social and emotional skills. Children will develop other skills, however the focus skills will be the basis for planning and support.
